The Wisconsin Homeland Security Council was created in 2003 by executive order. Wisconsin’s homeland security advisor and 16 other council members advise the governor, coordinate state and local prevention and response efforts, and produce periodic homeland security reports. Meetings are usually held monthly, on the third Wednesday of each month.
